My Story

Hi! I'm Hannah Hipps, an Mind Body Eating Coach (Eating Psychology) and Yoga Instructor. Self Discovery and growth is a huge part of my life. I am constantly looking at ways to make my life more peaceful and fulfilling. I want to enjoy the time I am here on this planet. Don't you?
 
I've spent most of my life not understanding the true meaning of health. I have hated, pushed and deprived my body. 

 

I learned I can love my body and heal myself through a different health approach that is life affirming. I am more confident and grateful for my journey.

Life can be complicated, especially when it comes to our weight, diet, body image, and our moods. There is so much information out there that can leave us confused, frustrated and crushing our self esteem. I completely get it. I have been there.
We are told "eat this, not that," "this is good, that is bad," and "this is the perfect diet." The result is we are confused about what to eat, and how to have a happy relationship with food and a healthy metabolism. I can understand, how we try diet after diet without getting long lasting results. Most "diets" are not sustainable long term. We eventually fall off the wagon because we are depriving ourselves of nourishment and pleasure. We then feel shame, guilt and see ourselves as willpower weaklings or that we need more control. Dieting can be stressful and stress hurts our health. 
Searching for the perfect you, will only keep you running around in circles. She is already here, waiting for you. Our struggles, symptoms, and challenges are our best teachers, they become opportunities for growth and self-improvement. I focus on what’s right for your body and your personal style. As we work together in this way, eating and health issues become a place of exploration. 
When did we stop enjoying our food? I am here to tell you, you can enjoy food, love your body as it is, and find peace with yourself. My approach is kind, nourishing, and gentle. It's about empowering us as women to embody our Feminine Beauty. As we change our relationship with food we change our relationship with ourselves. Doesn't that sound yummy?

About My Training

 

I trained at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, the world’s leading school in Nutritional Psychology where I received my certification as an Eating Psychology Coach. In IPE's internationally acclaimed program, I learned powerful cutting-edge tools and protocols that enable me to work with weight issues, body image challenges, overeating, binge eating, and a variety of nutrition related health concerns such as digestion, fatigue, mood, immunity, and others. My work combines the powerful new fields of Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind-Body Nutrition. The skills I use from this training are a combination of practical coaching techniques, results-oriented psychology, clinical nutrition, body-centered practices, mind-body science, and a positive and compassionate approach to challenges with food and health.
